WHAT?
18 Holes for Hope is a chance for a foursome to play 18 holes of golf on a championship course.
WHY?
Each 18 Holes golfer commits to raising a minimum of $1,000 to help Mercy Walk build sustainable relationships and projects in Kenya, Romania and the Seattle Metro area.
Golfers are able to participate in an amazing golf experience and make a major difference in the lives of African orphans and others without hope. The 2009 event raised more than $30 thousand.
WHEN & WHERE?
18 Holes for Hope 2010 will be held on May17th at The Plateau Club in Sammamish, WA. Tee off time is 11:30.
IS IT HARD TO RAISE AT LEAST $1,000?
Mercy Walk will help you. The key is to create a good list of your friends, family members, business associates, and others who you can communicate with about your 18 Holes for Hope participation. Mercy Walk will help you send letters and emails to your list. We make it efficient and easy. Last year, many golfers raised more than $3,000 each. Once you register, we will provide you with the tools you need, including a clear timeline, sample letters and proven strategies for success.
DO I NEED TO PAY A COURSE FEE?
No! There is no registration or course fee. Snacks and a gourmet dinner are included, and golf balls are provided for every golfer. Carts are provided. Our mobile support team will deliver drinks, snacks and extra golf balls everywhere along the course.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE END OF THE DAY?
When the last foursome finishes, everyone, including friends and family, will gather in the club house for a rousing party and dinner – to celebrate the day and your success as a 18 Holes for Hope golfer.
